What stays on your device

One Destiny stores your progress in the local storage of your browser: the life under way, your profile (coins, tokens, unlocks, feats, game history) and your settings (sound, animations, text size).

This data is never transmitted: there is no game server, no database and no user account. It can only be read from this browser, on this device. Clearing the site data, or using the reset button in the Settings, erases it for good. No copy of it exists anywhere else, which also means it cannot be recovered.

What the host sees

The site is hosted by Vercel. Like any web server, it technically handles the connection information needed to send the pages, including your IP address, your browser and the page requested. I have access to no log that names anyone.

Audience measurement

Two Vercel tools are active:

• Web Analytics: counts page views, country and device type, in aggregate.
• Speed Insights: records performance measurements (display time, responsiveness) so that whatever drags can be repaired.

Neither of these tools sets any cookie, builds any advertising profile or makes it possible to follow you from one site to another. All I get out of them are totals, never the path of one particular person.

Cookies, advertising, resale

The game sets one single cookie, and only if you pick a language yourself in the Settings. It remembers that choice, holds nothing other than fr, en or es, lasts a year and serves only to open the game in the right language on your next visit. It cannot identify you and cannot follow you: it is a strictly necessary cookie, and it does not call for consent.

No other cookie exists. The game shows no advertising, contains no third-party tracker and neither sells nor shares anything. No data is monetised, for the simple reason that there is none to monetise.

Without that cookie, the language shown on arrival is simply the one your browser declares it prefers. That information is neither stored nor passed on to anyone: it is read for the length of the redirection, then forgotten.

Children

The game collects no personal information, and therefore asks for no age, no name and no address. Nothing is stored that could identify a player, whatever their age.

Your rights

Since no personal data is kept on a server, there is nothing on my side to consult, correct or delete. You keep full control of what is stored on your device, and you can erase it at any moment without asking me.
